About this Role

Elsie is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Marketing and Sales Director to join our growing team. This is a newly created role that plays a pivotal part in driving our business forward. The Marketing and Sales Director will be responsible for leading and executing strategic initiatives in lead generation, digital marketing, and sales, with the ultimate goal of expanding Elsie’s market presence and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy aligned with Elsie’s business objectives and growth targets.
  • Lead Generation: Identify and target potential clients within the learning industry, corporations, and government agencies, establishing strong connections and generating high-quality leads.
  • Digital Marketing: Oversee the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, content marketing, and social media strategies, to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
  • Sales Management: KPIs and manage a high-performing sales team, setting clear targets and KPIs, and providing guidance and coaching to drive sales performance.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and emerging opportunities, adapting strategies accordingly.
  • Partnerships: Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships that can enhance Elsie’s reach and offerings within the target market.
  • Budget Management: Manage the sales and marketing budget effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics and reporting tools to track the effectiveness of sales and marketing efforts, making data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product development and customer success, to ensure alignment and customer satisfaction.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • Proven track record of at least 5-7 years in B2B sales and marketing leadership roles, preferably within the learning and development industry.
  • Strong understanding of the learning industry, corporate, and government markets.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing successful sales and marketing strategies.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.
