Corporate Events Manager

Elsie supports organizations around the world in delivering smooth, effective, and high-impact programs for their people. As Corporate Events Manager, you’re the person who holds the whole picture, keeping logistics tight, stakeholders informed, and the experience seamless from kickoff to close.

About This Role

We’re looking for an experienced Corporate Events Manager to lead event planning and execution for a key client. You’ll work closely with our Global Events Specialist, manage vendor relationships, and serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams and external partners across virtual, hybrid, and in-person formats.

This is not an entry-level role. You should already have hands-on experience leading corporate events end-to-end.

You’ll bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in corporate event management, with time in a lead or senior capacity
  • Proven experience across virtual, hybrid, and in-person event formats
  • Strong project management skills
  • A clear, confident communication style with senior stakeholders
  • Sharp attention to detail and the ability to see around corners before things become problems
  • Proficiency in Canva and PowerPoint
  • A collaborative, creative energy that makes clients feel heard and leaves them with a plan they’re excited about

Responsibilities

  1. Event Strategy & Coordination
    • Lead the planning and execution of corporate events, including engagement series, panels, workshops, cultural celebrations, and social activities
    • Coordinate events across global locations, ensuring clear communication, logistics, and resource allocation
    • Develop and manage event timelines, budgets, and logistics for multiple programs simultaneously
    • Collaborate with internal and external teams to design events that reflect client goals and foster community
    • Source and evaluate vendors for events, comparing options and making recommendations based on fit, quality, and budget
  1. Team & Stakeholder Collaboration
    • Lead and coordinate with the Global Events Specialist, providing direction and quality control across all active programs
    • Serve as primary point of contact for event planning across internal stakeholders and external partners
    • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and communications across time zones
    • Maintain clear and proactive communication with client contacts to support local event needs, including venue setup, catering, and signage
  1. Content & Creative Development
    • Develop event materials, including toolkits, run-of-show documents, presentations, and attendee communications
    • Generate event ideas, formats, and experiences that are rooted in purpose and resonate with the intended audience
    • Originate creative direction for events, from concept through design decisions, and shepherd assets through client brand approval processes
    • Create and produce engaging content for attendees, including playlists, slide decks, and event collateral
    • Design and produce promotional and event video assets, or project-manage their production
  1. Logistics & Execution
    • Own event logistics end-to-end, including technical and AV needs for virtual and in-person events
    • Lead onsite and virtual event teams to ensure smooth delivery and a strong attendee experience
    • Oversee event setup, monitoring, and post-event wrap-up
  1. Evaluation & Reporting
    • Develop and distribute pre- and post-event surveys to gather attendee insights and feedback
    • Analyze event data to identify trends, successes, and areas for improvement
    • Produce post-event reports and recommendations for future programs

Expected Time Commitment: This role is estimated to require 10–20 hours per week, with busier and slower seasons.
